Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle therapeutic technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the movement of lymph fluid around the body. It helps reduce swelling, remove waste products, and support immune function. Commonly used after injury, surgery, or in conditions causing fluid retention, lymphatic drainage promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and aids the body’s natural healing processes.
In addition to the above, this treatment works wonders when supporting the body with a detox.
Aesthetically, this treatment is a little wonder and although none of what I offer is for the aim of aesthetics, I'd say this form of treatment provides the lovely added bonus of moving excess lymph fluid away from the abdominal area, which can temporarily make the stomach appear flatter, less swollen, and more defined. It also improves circulation, supports your digestion, consequently reducing any feelings of heaviness or tightness in the abdomen.
Whilst it doesn’t directly “tone” muscles or cause fat loss, regular lymphatic drainage supports a sleeker, more contoured appearance by minimizing bloating and water retention.
